Lafourche permit office tries to stymie

Toby Hebert, 62, a native and resident of Choctaw, La., died at 6:33 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011.
Mr. Hebert served eight years on Lafourche Parish Recreation District No. 5 as a board member from 2004 till death; eight years on Lafourche Parish Fire District Board Choctaw No. 8-B from 2004 till death; and was a Charter Member of Choctaw Volunteer Fire Department in 1983.
He is survived by his mother, Lucille Hebert; daughters, Stacy (Kevin) Sanchez, and Amy and Julie Hebert; brothers, Russel, Robert and Autrey Hebert; sister, Betty Thibodaux; and one granddaughter, Paige Sanchez.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Laiche Hebert; father, Gilbert Hebert; and one brother, Wilbert Hebert.
He is buried at St. James Chapel Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
