Todd Anthony Burgess, 43, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, April 29, at 5:47 p.m.
He is survived by his fiancee’, Jean Marie Schoenhaus of New York; daughter, Ashley Burgess of Houma; brothers, Billy Burgess of Houma, Glynn Burgess of Connecticut and John Burgess of Houma; sisters, Nancy Pellegrin of Bourg, La., Peggy Iacano of Houma and Wanda Burgess of Houma; grandchild, Alaina Guidry; and his extended family, Jason, Brittni and Corinna.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Ray Burgess and Simonne Marie Chauvin Burgess.
He as a laborer for Energy Express and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, May 2, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at St. Louis Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
