Tommy Joseph “Tom” Lefort, 56, a native of Cut Off, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, January 31, 2008, at 4:25 a.m.
He is survived by his parents, Sampson A. Lefort Jr. and Hazel Danos Fisher; nieces, Jodi Lefort and Clair Plaisance; nephews, Charlie and Jake Lefort and Colin and Cain Plaisance; and sister, Mary and husband Phillip Plaisance.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather Richard Fisher Jr.; and his brother, Rickey Antoine Lefort.
Tommy was an artist who taught at Sola. He was also an avid photographer and a recent graduate of Nicholls State University with a Bachelors degree in fine arts.
He will have a private service.
Falgout Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
