Tyrana’ja Monei Watkins, infant, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died at Terrebonne General Medical Center Monday, March 31.


She is survived by her parents, Tyrone Watkins and Lekecia Thompkins of Raceland; sisters, Percyanna Thompkins and Tyroyonna Gabriel of Raceland and Tieyanna Meads of Houma, La.; brothers, Theronce Steward and Devont’ae Adams of Raceland and Tyrone Dillon of Larose, La.; grandparents, Norma Jean Young, Amanda Thompkins and Keith Green; and her step-grandfathers, Henry of Gray, Joshua Young of Des Allemands, La., and Alvin Johnson of Raceland.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Twyla Na’ja Robertson; and her grandfather, Albert “Nicky Jr.” Mathieu.

A religious service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland, with burial at the church cemetery.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
