Vance Philip Morvant, 41, a native and resident of Chackbay, La., died Monday, May 5, 2014.
Mr. Morvant enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Morvant; sisters, Tisha (Steve) Bryant and Tania (Shane) Blanchard.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vertis Morvant.
Visitation will be 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Thibodaux)
