Vergis Mae Senette Bella, 84, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Morgan City, La., died at 5:22 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Tony and Craig Bella; daughters, Charlotte Bella and Darlene Lapeyrouse; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lucky Bella; parents, Albert and Ellen Senette; son, Peter Bella; brothers, Douglas and Alvin Senette; sister, Ella Trosclair; and one great-granddaughter, Precious Bourg.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 19 at Samart Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, June 20 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with burial to follow at the church cemetery. (Samart)
