A special swimmer: Adams doesn’t let disability define his life

Vernice M. Robinson, 77, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine and Barbara Robinson, Joann Bolden and Wanda Moore; sons, Lloyd, Floyd, Phillip Sr. (Rhonda) and Pernell Sr. (Lori) Robinson; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Elizabeth Mosby; daughter, Patricia Robinson; brother, Andrew Mosby; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013 at Morning Star Baptist Church in Thibodaux with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Landry’s)
