Virgie Ann LeBouef Champagne Traigle, 71, a resident and native of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011.


Mrs. Traigle was a member of Living Word Church. Her favorite scripture from the Bible was Psalms 23.


She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Traigle Jr.; daughter, Bonita Ann Champagne; sons, Craig and Danny (Amanda) Traigle; four grandchildren, Carissa Babin, and Cody, Devon and Mitchell Traigle; brother, Raymond (Lorrain) LeBouef; sisters, Rosemary (Blaise) Matherne and Ethel (Donald) Voisin; mother-in-law, Elsie Degruise Traigle; former spouse, Rev. Conrad Joseph Champagne; brothers-in-law, Raymond (Joyce) and Wayne (Lajohnnal) Traigle; sisters-in-law, Violette (Huey) and Linda (Willie) Besson, and Elaine Prejean; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy and Mitchell LeBouef; and father-in-law, Gilbert Traigle Sr.

She is buried at Rogers Cemetery.
