Virginia Arceneaux Pontiff, 62, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, April 3, at 6:30 a.m.
She is survived by her mother, Olympe Arceneaux; son, Monty Pontiff and wife, Vicki; brothers, Mason, Lawrence, Allen and Ronnie Arceneaux; sisters, Anita Portier, Donna Porche, Julia Arceneaux, Jean Tabor and Denise Sherrill; and grandchildren, Meriden and Breah Pontiff; and her former spouse, L.J. Pontiff.
She was preceded in death by her father, Evest Arceneaux.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses are preferred.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
