Virginia “Tee-Tee” Navarre Hebert, 78, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died at 5:19 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010.


Mrs. Hebert was a homemaker and parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was an active member of the Bayou Blue Senior Citizens Group where she served as a Maid and Queen of Mardi Gras. She was a caring person, a remarkable women and an exceptional mother. She was a devoted wife and loving, caring, giving grandmother and great grandmother. This love that she has given will forever live within her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and the many hearts that were touched in her life.

She is survived by her son, Albert “Jay” (Ellen Boudreaux) Hebert Jr., daughters, Connie (Leo Dupre) Hebert, Tana (Dooley) Theriot, Karen (Dwayne) Boudoin, Pam (Ty) Cobb, Tina (Dwayne) LeBouef, Rachel (Carl) Dupre and Stacey (Monty) Luna; sister, Audrey Devalcourt; 20 grandchildren, Trent Hebert, Jessica Pollard, Sidney and Shayla Theriot, Lindsey Jr. and Derrick Boudreaux, Jennifer, Colby and Ariana Boudoin, Greffery, Courtney and Shelby Cobb, Ashlee, Morgan and Dwayne LaBouef, Hunter and Kelsey Dupre, Jade, Brandon and Bricen Luna; and five great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Peter Hebert Sr.; parents, Marcellan and Jeannie Bergeron Navarre; three brothers, Ernest, Norris and Horace Navarre; one sister, Margie Boudreaux; and one grandchild, Zachary Cobb.

She is buried at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery.
