Waldo “Wally” Joseph Labbe’, Jr., 86, a native of St. Martinville, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday December 20, at 2:17 p.m.
He is survived by his wifeof 63 years, Mildred Davis Labbe’; daughters, Gayle Martien and husband Ed Martien Sr. of Scott, La., Diana Powell of Houston, Tx., Ellen Monteiro and husband John “Bucky” Monteiro of Houma, and Elizabeth”Betty” Chenault and husband Alanson “Skipper” Chenault of Mandeville, La.; son, Michael Labbe’ and wife Sherri Labbe’ of Houma; brother, Norman Labbe’ of Bel Air, Md.; sisters, Shirley Dastugue of Kenner, La., Carol Matherne of Bourg, La, and Dee Cenac of Houma; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Waldo Joseph Labbe’ Sr. and Eldies Landry Labbe’.
He was a pharmacist rep with Merck Pharmaceutical Co. He served as 1st Lieutenant in the Army during World War II, attended LSU, then graduated from Loyola University receiving his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday December 23, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a religious service to follow.
