Fletcher receives disaster expansion funds

Wallace Ozio LaCoste, 86, a native and resident of Morgan City, La., died Saturday Aug. 20, 2011.
Mr. LaCoste enjoyed life and did his best to live it to the fullest. He began his career with Triple C at the age of 18 and continued to work there until his retirement just a few years ago. He enjoyed cooking and loved to spend time fishing. His favorite time of year was Labor Day weekend at the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival.
He is survived by his sisters, Ruth and Pearl Rebardi, Sufronia Verret and Ida LaCoste; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 .m. Monday, Aug. 22 and 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23 at Hargrave Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Morgan City with burial to follow at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
