Biddy leaguers storm Thibodaux for tourney

Wallace “W.D.” Cotton, 72, a native of Alabama and a resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, March 13, at 5 a.m.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Branscom Cotton; sons, Andy Cotton and wife Angie Dominique, and David Michel; daughters, Barbara West and husband Michael, and Verna “Star” West and husband Bill; numerous brothers and sisters; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Halie Hallon Cotton; son, Wallace D. Cotton; and daughter, Theresa Cotton.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 14, and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Samart Funeral Home. A religious service will be at 6 p.m. Friday, March 14 at Samart Funeral Home.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
