Walter Bijeaux, 76, a native of Lafayette, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday, November 19.
He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Bijeaux; three sons, Andrew, Warren and Simon Bijeaux; three daughters, Bonnie Bijeaux, Judy Lirette and Rebecca Lodrigue; five stepsons, Roland, Barry, Robert, Ronald and Joseph Dominique; three stepdaughters, Rose Greenwood, Carol Abbott and Ella Dupre; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Bijeaux Sr. and Ernilie Blanchard Bijeaux.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, November 23, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with a memorial service to follow.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
