Walter “Black” Boudreaux Jr., 66, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 5:10 p.m. Sunday, September 28.


He is survived by two sons, Walter Boudreaux III and wife Lisette, and Lydria Boudreaux; three daughters, Shelly B. Duet and husband Clint, Angie B. Perez and husband Isaac, and Ashley Boudreaux; one brother, Michael Boudreaux Sr. and wife Dale T.; five sisters, Hazel Thibodaux, Helen Wantlin and husband George, Edna Rumore, Dianne Benoit and husband Roland, and Margaret Adams and husband Nolan Sr.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Boudreaux Sr. and Mary Richoux Boudreaux; and two brothers, Philip Boudreaux and Ronald John Boudreaux.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, at Thibodaux Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. He will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
