June 30, 2010Walter Patrick “Pat” Grigsby Jr., 61, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died at 7:20 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010.
Mr. Grigsby served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his son, Billy (Dana) Grigsby; daughter, Verna (Brian) Thietje; brother, Wood Grigsby; sister, Susan Klopfenstein; and six grandchildren, Ian Naquin, Tyler, Brianna, Rhea, Hannah and Will Grigsby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Sr. and Mae Galliano Grigsby; one son, Troy Grigsby; and one sister, Sherry Plaisance.
A service will be held at Falgout Funeral Parlor in Raceland, La., at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 2, followed by burial in the Holy Savior Cemetery.
