Walton H. Dill, 72, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, June 19, at 12:48 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Viator; daughters, Janet E. Creppel and husband Gerald, and Janice Dill; step-sons, Jude Scott Sevin, William Patrick Kelley and Jeremy (Digger) Kelley; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Janet Hall Dill; and brother, Robert Dill.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and belonged to the Louisiana Peace Officers Association.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louisiana State Troopers Association.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, at Falgout Funeral Home’s Chapel. A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday with burial at Raceland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
