Senator Circle residents oppose duplex donation

Wanda St. Romain Hitt, 84, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, July 23, 2010.
She is survived by her sons, Lawson (Mae), John (Christa Fink), James (Penny), Charles (Crystal) and David (Melinda) Hitt; daughters, Karen (Bobby) Hunter, Anne (Alphonse LeBlanc) Hitt, Jane (Richard Motley) Falgout and Mary Hitt; sisters, Lydia Hitt and Rita Robichaux; brothers, Martin and Richard St. Romain; 16 grandchildren, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Shaun, Harry, Mason, Maria, Jessica, Jacob, Erica, Ashley, Zachary, Alex, James II, Dane, Chelsea and Carl; and 10 great-grandchildren, Skyler, Eli, Brice, Katie, Hayden, Connor, Devyn, Joel, Joshua and Mylie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lawson Hitt; parents, Martin and Rita Guidry St. Romain; and two sisters, Myrtle and Pansy St. Romain.
She is buried at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Plaisance Center in Lockport, La.
