Wanda Wills King, 68, a native of Pollock, La. and resident of Houma, La. died at Terrebonne General Medical Center Sunday, October 7, 2007.

She is survived by her son, Brenton W. King, Jr.; one daughter, Donna King Bledsoe and her husband David; one brother, Ronald Wills; five grandchildren, Kayla King Cheramie, Trisha Dugas Aldrich, Brenton King III, Tiffany Dugas, and Anthony Dugas II; and eight great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Brenton W. King, Sr.; her parents, Edgar and Gertrude Wills; and 14 brothers and sisters.

Wanda was a loving mother and grandmother.

Visitation is Thursday, October 11, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., with the funeral to be held Friday, October 12, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Hixon Brothers Funeral Home in Pineville, La. She will be buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Ball, La.

Hixon Brothers Funeral Home in Pineville is in charge of the arrangements.
