Warren John Rodrigue, 83, a native of Franklin, La., and a resident of Bayou Black, La., died Thursday, January 29.


He is survived by his wife, Eula Savoie Rodrigue; sons Hayes Rodrigue and wife Helen of Scottsbluff, Ne., and Philip Rodrigue and wife Nancy of Lafayette, La.; daughter Mary Billiot and husband Jimmie of Gray, La.; brothers Ronald Rodrigue of Bayou Black, and Emmett Rodrigue and wife Doris of Bayou Black; grandchildren John Rodrigue and Kristy Davis and husband Joel; step-grandchildren, Tessa Granger and husband Todd, Nick Nelson and wife Emily, Heidi Brown and husband Todd, and Jim Billiot; and step-great-grandchildren, Devin Brown and Seth Granger.


He was preceded in death by his parents, John Albert Rodrigue and Della Hebert Rodrigue.

He graduated from Terrebonne High School in 1942 and attended Washington State University and LSU. He served as a Corporal in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the VFW. He was a carpenter.

He was buried at St. Anthony Catholic Church Cemetery.
