Wayne Anthony Bernard, 74, a native of Lockport, La., and resident of Morgan City, La., died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013

Mr. Bernard was an extremely spiritual Christian and a talented artist who was well known for his “Hand Painted Hard Hats”. He was an accomplished musician and a champion bass fisherman. His career in the oilfield industry included offshore work, sales, environmental and safety. At the time of his death he was the Environmental & Safety Manager for Crown Oilfield Services in Patterson, La.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Bernard; children, Sue, Kathy, Wayne II (Ami) and Rebecca Bernard, Chris Lemoine, Stacey (Seth) Williams, Shelly (Randy) Lewis and Ronda (Marcus) Chauvin; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Weldon and Lorraine Bernard; and one grandchild. (Hargrave)
