Wayne J. Davis, 51, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, Jan. 23, 2012.
Mr. Davis was Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Davis; sons, Adrian and Dwayne Davis; daughters, LaShonda (Jamie) Weaver-Broom, Raynea and Lola Davis; brother, Earl Jr. (Ella) Thompson; sisters, Patricia Stafford, Joyce St. Julien, Shirley and Carla Davis, Ann (Kenneth), Lavette and Jeannie Thompson; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Thompson Sr. and Dorothy Davis; sisters, Gail Davis, Antoinette Davis and Norma Hipp; and grandparents, Leola and Walter Davis.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Thibodaux with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Kennedy)
