Wayne Thomas, 43, a native and resident of Gibson, La., died Friday, July 4.
He is survived by one son, Jeremiah Noel; two daughters, Waynisha Jones and Waynenika Thomas; two brothers, Lionel Thomas and wife, Gina, of Gibson, and Bruce Thomas of Las Vegas, Nv.; and three sisters, Carmen Jacobs and husband, Jimmy, of Gray, La., Sharon LaGarde of Baton Rouge, La., and Crissie Ray and husband, James, of Gibson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel Thomas Sr. and Dorthy Watson Thomas; one sister, Carol Thomas Trosclair; and his grandparents, Mitchell Thomas and Mary Riley McGee and Charlie Watson and Cora Gates Watson.
He was Baptist.
He was buried at St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery in Waterproof, La.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
