Westley James Domangue, 47, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Sunday, May 6, 2007.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, with burial in the church cemetery.


He is survived by his wife, Annie Theriot Domangue; his parents, Raymond and Nora Domangue of Chauvin; two sons, Paul “P.J.” and fiancee’, Dodi Adams, and Brooks Domangue of Chauvin; one daughter, Leah Domangue and fiance, Robbie Henry, of Chauvin; two brothers, Sherwood Domangue and wife, Kem, of Houma, La. and Sherwin Domangue and wife, Tara, of Houma; four sisters, Norma LeBoeuf and husband, Alley, of Bourg, La., Chris Desormeaux Eschete and husband, John, of Houma, Susan Duncan and husband, James, of Jourdanton, Tx., and Pamela Blanchard and husband, Wayne, of Chauvin; his mother-in-law, Gertrude Theriot of Chauvin; two sisters-in-law, Fay Theriot and fiance, Jim, of Chauvin, and Vickie Blanchard and husband, Matt, of Chauvin; one granddaughter, Maycie Domangue of Chauvin; and numerous nieces, nephews and a great-niece.

He was preceded in death by his identical twin brother; his father-in-law, Paul Theriot; two brothers-in-law, Kurt Theriot and Jules Desormeaux; his paternal grandparents, Tores and Mary Domangue; and his maternal grandparents, Denis and Nora White.

He was a shrimp trawler by trade and was a person loved by everyone. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
