Whalen Joseph Kiffe, 69, a native of Berwick, La., and resident of Bayou Vista, La., died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012.
Mr. Kiffe retired from Texaco Floodway Plant after 32 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors but most of all he cherished his family and the time they spent together.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Kiffe; son, Chris (Becky) Kiffe; daughters, Kristi (Duane) Carriere and Penny (Ronny) Adams; brother, Robert Kiffe; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tarlton and Katie Kiffe; brother, Burt Kiffe; and son, Lindell Kiffe.
Interment was at Berwick Mausoleum. (Hargrave)
