Whitney Nicole “Black” Jones, 21, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, La., died at her home Saturday, December 13.
She is survived by her parents, Darnell and Sonya Jones Johnson of Donaldsonville; one sister and spouse, Nicole and Earl Tunson of Napoleonville, La.; two brothers and spouse, Darnell “Peanut” and Telisha Jones of Baton Rouge, La., and Kelly Jones of Donaldsonville; one foster sister and spouse, Letrell and Andre Patterson of Gonzales, La.; one foster brother, Garland Jones of Donaldsonville; her fiancé, Derek Watts; and numerous relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Eunice Jones and Alex and Geraldine Johnson.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, December 18, at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Donaldsonville and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church in Napoleonville. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
