Wilbert Lawrence Boudreaux Sr., 81, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Chauvin, La., died at 10:19 a.m. Wednesday, June 4.


He is survived by his son, Wilbert Lawrence Boudreaux Jr. and wife, Cynthia, of Houma; daughter, Jan Boudreaux Collins and husband, Jimmy, of Houma; brothers, Raymond Boudreaux of Houma, Richard Boudreaux of Montegut, La., and Edward Boudreaux of McComb, Ms.; sisters, Beatrice LeBoeuf of Galliano, La., and Ramona Boudreaux of Houma; grandchildren, Michelle Fischer and husband, Edwin, Melanie B. Caillouet and husband, Andre, Michael L. Boudreaux and companion, Angelle Lyons, Conley D. Collins, Cullen J. Collins and Trinity J. Collins and wife, Angelle; and great- grandchildren, Zachary K. LeBlanc, Dylan C. LeBlanc, Jacob M. Boudreaux and Daelyn J. Collins.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Burnette Ledet Boudreaux; his parents, Charles and Annie Naquin Boudreaux; son, Faron Lawrence Boudreaux; and brothers, Irvin Boudreaux and Francis Boudreaux.

He was a retired boat captain with Texaco and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He was buried at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
