Wilbur J. Brown, 79, a native and resident of St. Charles Community, died at 10:05 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010.
Mr. Brown was retired from United Gas, a veteran of the Korean War and a recipient of the Bronze Star.
He is survived by his wife, Ethlyn “Toot” Arabie Brown; daughter, Sylvia (Boyd Jr.) Hebert; son, Jeff (Celeste) Brown; four grandchildren, Boyd “Trey” (Caroline) Hebert III, Geoffrey Hebert, Magan Brown and Bobbi (Lyle) Landry; great-grandson, Boyd C. Joseph Hebert IV; brother, Warren (Eula) Brown; sister, Mildred “Mickey” (Jimmy) Hubbell; brother-in-law, Robert Talbot; and sister-in-law, Esther Q. Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Jack and Sylvania Boudreaux Brown; one brother, Perry Brown; and two sisters, Henrietta Brown Reyer and Grace Brown Talbot.
He is buried at St. Mary’s Nativity Cemetery.
