Wilda Marie Boudreaux Molaison “Maw Maw Willie” or “Mrs. Molly”, 90, a native and resident of Theriot, La., died Thursday, Sept. 10, at 5 a.m.


She is survived by four children, Emelton “Moe” or “Poose” A. Molaison Jr. and wife Geralyn, Judith “Judy” or “Goo” Molaison Billiot and husband Philton, Thomas “Tommy” Molaison and wife Patrice, all of Theriot, and Mary “Beth” Molaison Gautreaux and husband Donald, formerly of Chauvin, La., and now residing in Houma; 13 grandchildren, Stephen Molaison and wife Celeste of Thibodaux, La., Monica Molaison Bourque and husband Scott of Milton, Melanie Molaison Daigle and husband Gary of Bayou Blue, La., John Allen Billiot and wife Michelle of Houma, Angela Billiot Lowery and husband Matt of Benton, Ark., Buffy Billiot of Theriot, Jody Billiot of Houma, Marie Billiot and fiance’ Shawn Roddy of Schriever, La., Natasha Molaison of Des Allemands, La., Lee Molaison and wife Stephanie of Theriot, Joshua Molaison and wife Lauren of Theriot, and Celeste Gautreaux and Donald “Joey” Gautreaux Jr. formerly of Chauvin, now residing in Houma; 12 great-grandchildren, plus one on the way; one step great-granddaughter; and a host of nephews.


She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Emelton “Molly” Molaison Sr.; parents, Edescar Boudreaux and Elescia Champagne Boudreaux; one brother, Irvin Boudreau; two sisters, Wilma Boudreaux Voisin and Vivian Boudreaux Voisin; and one great-grandchild, Brayden Molaison.

She was a housewife, school cafeteria worker and in her early teens and 20’s she worked for Aunt Ismay Pere at the Style Shop and at Haydel’s drug store soda fountain. She had a big heart and loved her family. Her greatest joy was playing cards with her family and listening to and singing along with her favorite songs. Her greatest joy of all was reciting her rosary and her favorite saying was “ALL THIS AND HEAVEN TOO!”

Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
