Wilfred “Willie” Toups, 84, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Sunday, July 6.
He is survived by his wife, Freda Wood Toups; son, Mark Toups and wife Esther; brother, Floyd Toups; sister, Johnny Faye Dlaubay; grandchildren, Amber Toups, Stephanie Toups and Angelique Burns; and great-grandchild, Destyn Burns.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Eva Toups; brothers, James, Ira, Sam Jr., Wilbur and Royellis Toups; and sister, Doris Vizier.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 315 in Galliano. He was an avid bowler and fisherman.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, La. He will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of the arrangements.
