June 10, 2014Willard John Kraemer Sr., 76, a native of Lockport, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, June 2, 2014.
Mr. Kraemer was self-employed at Kraemer “No Job Too Small” as a contractor and carpenter for more than 30 years. He also worked at Norman’s Clothing Store and Hanaman’s Shoe Department where he was known as “Kraemer the Tamer”. He was a unique, caring, compassionate and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dot Kraemer; son, Rickie (Sherry) Kraemer; daughters, Melissa (Dr. David) Hagen, Ann (Billy Sr.) Earwood and Linda (Jeff) Robinson; brother, Gene Kraemer; sisters, Lorraine Ledet, Rosalie Day and Mary and Cynthia Kraemer; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aurelian Sr. and Helena Kraemer; first wife, Bertie Kraemer; sons, Willard Jr. and Barry Kraemer; brothers, Aurelian Jr., Howard, Stanley and Steven Kraemer; and sister, Vesta Perkins.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
