William “Bill” Thomas Clark Sr., 80, a native of Bandera, Texas, and resident of Bayou Vista, La., died Thursday, June 24, 2010.


Mr. Clark was a self-employed carpenter by trade. He was an active member of Bayou Vista Baptist Church and he loved fishing and gardening and sharing the word of God with others.

He is survived by his mother, Maudie O. Clark; daughter, Marie (Edward Sr.) Landry; sons, William Jr. “Tommy” (Nadine) and Paul (Suzanne) Clark; two brothers and four sisters; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his close friend, Ruth Head.


He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Pisani Clark; father, Amasas L. Clark; four brothers and three sisters.

He is buried at Morgan City Cemetery.
