William Dean Sartin, 48, a native of Jacksonville, N.C., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, April 25, at 1:25 p.m.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy Garrett Sartin; parents, Harold William Sartin and Dianne McGinniss Sartin; son, Michael Sartin and wife Jennifer Sartin; daughters, Ashley Sartin and Katie Sartin; sisters, Deborah Rene Sartin Gersten, Christine Yvonne Sartin Youngblood and Danielle Ross Sartin; and granddaughter, Chloe Sartin.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leander Sartin and Myrtle Harriett Davis Sartin.
He was an offshore service supervisor for B.J. Services since 1992 and an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Church. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by many.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial at St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
