William E. Dupre, 81, a native of Morgan City, La., and resident of Hot Springs, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011.
Mr. Dupre was a U.S. Army veteran who courageously served in World War II.
He is survived by his daughters, Reba Badin, Billy Sue and Kathy Dupre and Julie Fryou; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Dupre; daughter, Tammy Dupre; and parents, Clement and Bertha Dupre.
Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, and 8 to 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at Hargrave Funeral Home with services to follow. The East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad will be conducting graveside services at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
