William Fredrick “Fred” Harlow, 62, a native of Pontotoc, Mississippi, and a resident of Houma, Louisiana, died June 28, 2014.

Mr. Harlow was a member of Unity Lodge 267, Easter Star, Houma Shrine, Jerusalem Shrine, captain of the Houma Clown Unit and a member of the Jerusalem Shrine Transportation. He also belonged to the Bent Cypress Hunting Club, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.


He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Joan Bergeron Harlow; daughters, Leslie Valure, Kellie Valure, Amanda Harlow and Amber (James) Smith; four grandchildren; brother, Eddie (Debbie) Harlow; sisters, Betty (Bill) Malone, Margaret (Bob) Wiginton and Martha (Bill) Bush; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

His parents, Carl Sr. and Opan Swindle Harlow, and brother, Carl Harlow Jr., preceded him in death.
