William Tucker Jr.

William L. “Billy” Tucker Jr., 80, of Cullman, Ala., passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Cullman Long Term Care and Rehab.

Mr. Tucker was born on June 28, 1929 in Houma to Dr. William Lee Tucker and Neola Chauvin Tucker. William had served in the U.S. Air Force, and went on to work nearly 30 years at Redstone Arsenal under the Army Missile Command as an aerospace engineer. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, hunting and fishing and generally being outdoors.

He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Tucker and Allyson (Jens) von Holten; son, William (Linda) Tucker III; sister, Jean (Emmett) Muster; brother, Ramon Tucker; two grandchildren; a special cousin, Carole O’Hara; and numerous other family and friends.

Mr. Tucker was interred at Cullman City Cemetery.
