August 26, 2011Willie Joseph Verret Jr., 65, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Houston, Texas, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2011.
Mr. Verret was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was Catholic.
He is survived by his sisters, Jeanette (John Jr.) Bell, Patricia (Jerry) Hebert and Linda (Charles) Spencer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Sr. and Bernice Verret.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
