Willie Scott Sr., 89, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014.
He is survived by his son, Willie Scott Jr.; daughters, Beverly (Hanson) Young, Gloria Harris and Janie Solomon; sisters, Genevieve Quinn, Delores Lewis and Bunnie Randolph; brothers, James, Albert, Lionel, Richard and Clyde Scott; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae Scott; daughter, Brenda Scott; parents, Willis and Lucy Scott; sister, Girley Jackson; brothers, Herbert, Joseph, Earl and Robert Scott; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Jones Funeral Home of Houma with services to follow. Burial will be at Southdown Cemetery. (Jones)
