Willis J. Thibodeaux, 86, a native of Lafayette, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 4:46 p.m. Thursday, October 2.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Brooks Thibodeaux; two daughters, Audrey Cosgrove and Jonnie Benoit; one brother, Lloyd Thibodeaux; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ovey Thibodeaux and Olite Hebert Thibodeaux; and five brothers, Antoine, Nolan, Earl and Julius Thibodeaux and one infant brother.
He was buried at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
