Sheriff’s ranges give public a new target
March 11, 2010Wilma Chiasson, 82, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:11 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010.
Mrs. Chiasson was Catholic.
She is survived by her sons, Lester of Houma, Ralph “Boo” Jr. of Abita Springs and Rene Chiasson of Houma; daughter, Evelyn Bailey of Greenback, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Kris and Kyle Bernard, and Chad and Britney Bailey, all of Greenback, Tenn.; two great-grandchildren, Haylee and Chase Bernard; and honorary son, Lawrence Guidry Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren F. Chiasson; parents, Henry and Agnes Hepler Klingman; son, Joel Chiasson; and sisters, Helen Guidry and Elise McGuyre.
She is buried at Magnolia Cemetery in Houma.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
