September 6, 2011Winona Posecai Olivier, 84, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:18 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011.
Mrs. Olivier was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Ruby) and Mark (Melinda) Olivier, Carole Brunet and Diane (Tommy) Adams; sisters, Victoria Hebert, Charlene Caillouet and Kathy Kagel; brothers, Warren and A.J. Posecai; 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Abbie Olivier; parents, Avery and Florence Posecai; sisters, Marion Vice, Cedette Kozak and Gloria McElroy; and step-great-grandson, Mitchell Parrish.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. (Chauvin)
