Wyatt Alexander Usey, 12, of Guthrie, Okla., passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 in Guthrie.
Wyatt was born on Aug. 14, 1997 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Shane M. and Carrie L. (Pence) Usey. He attended First Assembly of God Church and Guthrie public schools and also participated in the Special Olympics for several years.
He is survived by his parents, Shane and Carrie Usey; brother, Christian M. Usey; his grandparents, Mike and Sue Pence of Terlton, Okla., and Daniel and Beverly Usey of Thibodaux; his aunts and uncles, Deon Gibbs and Barbara Strunk of Kellyville, Okla., Mona Gibbs of Guthrie, Tammy and Andy Warlick of Shawnee, Okla., Shawn Pence and Kara Castor of Vici, Okla., Brian and Barbara Usey of Thibodaux, Vanessa Usey of Raceland, Dale and Trudy Usey of Lewisburg, W.Va., Melanie and Max Halliburton of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Troy and Tracy Usey of Thibodaux; and numerous cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Wyatt’s name to The Children’s Center, 6800 NW 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008.
Wyatt is interred at Summit View Cemetery.
