Yolanda M. “Sis” Rivette, 82, a native of Abbeville, La., and a resident of Bayou Black, La., died at 8 p.m. Monday, September 15.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth “Keno” Rivette and wife Jackie; one daughter, Brenda R. Willis and husband Stafford; one sister, Yolam Sellers; and five grandchildren, granddaughter and special care giver, Leah Domangue and husband Drake, Deandra Pachall and husband Jimmy, Cory Rivette, Darla Sampley and husband Tim, and Jared Willis and wife Hillary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Rivette; one son, Larry Rivette; five brothers; two sisters; and two grandchildren, Craig Rivette and Todd Rivette.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, September 20, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, La., with the funeral service to follow.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
