Yvonne S. Petit, 67, a native of Des Allemands, La., and resident of Ama, La., died Monday, July 30, 2007, at 11:05 a.m.
She is survived by her two sons, Darryl and Eric Petit; one daughter, Charlotta Madere; two brothers, Wilis Dufrene and Earl Sevin, Sr.; one sister, Angie Fruge; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Petit; her parents, Hayes Savoie and Alma Sevin; and one brother Arnold Sevin, Sr.
Visitation is Tuesday, July 31, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, August 1, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, La. She will be buried at Mennonite Cemetery in Des Allemands.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
