Allen Lawrence Hughes, Sr., 72, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and resident of Houma, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Jones (Derick), Tania Hughes; son, Allen Hughes, Jr.; step-son, Richard Woodall (Mandy); step-daughters, Amanda Burson (Eb) and Jennifer Bledsoe; 16 grandchildren; brothers, Edward Hughes III, Jack Hughes, David Hughes, and Keith Callahan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Hughes, Jr.; mother, Victorine Hughes Callahan; step-father, Sylvest Callahan; first wife, Sandra Trahan Carter; second wife, Sheila Ann Hughes; and nieces, Tammy Hughes and Terri James.
Services are pending. Samart Funeral Home of Houma, LLC is in charge of arrangements.
