July 26, 1941 – January 17, 2021

Allie Andrew Robichaux, Sr., age 79, passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at home. Allie was a native of Houma and a resident of Schriever.

A private graveside service will be held on a future date at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, Louisiana.


Allie is survived by his wife of 30 years, Melvena Garlick Robichaux; son, Allie Andrew Robichaux Jr.; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Donald Robichaux, Wayne and wife Judy Robichaux, Cary and wife Natalie Robichaux, and Jody and wife Regina Robichaux; one brother-in-law, Philip Poche’. Allie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Allie is preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly Robichaux; parents, Floyd A. and Beulah Robichaux; three brothers, Floyd J., Michael, and Thomas Robichaux; two sisters, Evelyn Poche’ and Catherine Fitch; two sisters-in-law, Mildred and Betty Robichaux; one nephew, Floyd J. Robichaux.

Allie loved life and his family which also included his fur babies, Charlie and Baby, and Punkin. Allie was incredibly talented, he loved model trains, hand carvings, fishing, traveling, and camping. Anyone who knew Allie, knew he and Melvena enjoyed their time traveling and meeting people. Allie served his country in the U.S. Navy.
