Austin Anthony Tabor, Sr. “Cocoron”, 64, a native of Chackbay, Louisiana and resident of Vacherie, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Vacherie, Louisiana from 8:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. The burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Vacherie, Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Hymel Tabor; mother, Loredia Guidry and husband, Reggie; sons, Tony Tabor, Todd Tabor and wife, Casey, Austin Tabor Jr. and fiancé, Danielle Robichaux, and Jared Tabor; brother, Shervie Tabor and wife, Matilda; sister-in-law, Linda Tabor; and grandchildren, Braxton Tabor, Aleah Tabor, and Carsyn Lynn Tabor.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marcel Tabor; brother, Nathan Tabor, Sr.; and in-laws, Kenneth and Mae Hymel.
Cocoron was a jack of all trades that loved to spend his time working in his shop. He was always willing to help anyone. He also loved his pups, Delta, Avery, and Hunter.
