Betty Briggs Goff, 82, a native of Marksville, Louisiana and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away on April 5, 2022.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Monday, April 11, 2022 at Thibodaux Funeral Home, 104 St. Patrick Hwy, Thibodaux, LA, 70301 from 9:00am until the Religious Service at 11:00am. The burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Number 1 in Marksville, Louisiana.


She is survived by her son, Lynwood Alberes; daughters, Jodi Terry and Melissa Bolt; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Blanchard, Matthew Blanchard, Ian Alberes, Alexandra Alberes, Avery Terry, Reagan Terry, Johnathan Crochet, Cory Crochet, and Keith Crochet Jr.; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Freddie Alberes; second husband, Joseph Goff; son, Clint Alberes; daughter, Karen Blanchard; parents, George and Rose Briggs; brothers, Horace Briggs, Gillman Briggs, Dudley Briggs; sisters, Helen Briggs, Georgette Goff, and Sadie Jeansonne.
