Brent Anthony Marcel, 46, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Hattiesburg, MS, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Samart Funeral Home on West Park from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.
He is survived by his wife, Summer Sienkiewicz Marcel; daughter, Madison Marcel; sons, Mason, Hudson, and Hayden Marcel; father, Pierre Marcel; mother, Deborah Marcel; sister, Talisha Marcel (Mark); nieces, Kelsey and Kaelyn Marcel, and Camryn Ross; brother, Rhett Marcel (Lori); grandmother, Vivian Haynes; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Elma and Pierre Marcel; grandfather, Herbert Haynes; uncles, Craig Marcel and Marshall Haynes; and cousin, Kris Marcel.
Brent was a United States Army veteran. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors, but most of all, he loved spending time with his children and his wife. He loved and cherished his family. Brent will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
