John is survived by his loving wife, Tammy “Blue” Adams, children: Trey Adams (Heather), Lani Jo Champagne (Justin), Erica Duet (Brady), Nina Naquin (Zane), and Jacob Dupre, mother; Peggy Torbert Adams and father; Camille John Adams, Sr. (Sheila), sisters; Jeannette Burke (Mike), Kathleen Billiot (Jeff), Anna Ballou, and brother Nicholas Ballou, grandchildren: Camille Jo, Laney, Cameron, Cooper, Rorie, Zander, and numerous nieces and nephews.

John was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He enjoyed cooking, karaoking his favorite country music songs, and spending time laughing with and loving his grandchildren, children, and his wife.  John was a member of Cross Church and gained so many new friends on his journey of faith.

The family would like to thank Mary Bird Perkins and Journey Hospice for their compassion and care.
